Isn’t Much to Say Today
There isn’t much to say today
Most in mind is just cliché
Improving weather is already done
Discussing the earthquake is not much fun
Vacation time comes in a week
Check back then if that you seek
Discussing work is never wise
Problems come with viewing eyes
So one more round of working days
Before the plane takes me away
Into the mountains with family near
Soon comes a highlight of my year
SATURDAY...
--- dayshift upstairs as our office is being fumigated. A little
disruptive but ok.
SUNDAY...
--- more of the same.
MONDAY...
--- softball before night shift. It's cool and windy but we get
through it in good shape with our second win in a row.
--- work is fairly quiet.
TUESDAY...
--- grab a shwarma on the way to work. Mistime the getting of the
food and therefore get to work about a half hour early. All I need is a twelve
and a half hour shift.
WEDNESDAY...
--- little sleep. About three hours worth. I stay around the house
in lazy mode all day.
THURSDAY...
--- groceries and an hour walk. Also chat with neighbour, Harley,
about getting our fencing done. Should be done soon.
FRIDAY...
--- lazing in bed but, while there, it's earthquake time. A 5.1
quake at 9:45 followed by a 4.2 about five minutes later. The first one gave a
good ten second shake at about the strength of heavy construction machinery
outside the house.
--- a pet peeve of mine, and the CBC is really guilty of doing it...
Adding the province when discussing every city. Like for a newscaster to say
Toronto, Ontario. Yes... We all know where Toronto is. And you contestants on
Dragon's Den... Stop saying you're from Vancouver, British Columbia.
