Making It Up As I Go Along #560

Old Age Houseflies
The houseflies lay about dying.
Conserving energy upon ledges
Turning old age grey before your eyes
Crumpled on the floor
Disintegrating upon your fingers
As you retrieve fly dust
And brush it into the trash

Ladybugs bombard the backyard
Pinging upon the window
Clinging to the backdoor screen
Taking aim upon the breeze
Missiling from behind
A bull’s-eye upon your earlobe
Holding tight as you pry it off

The coming winter brings desperation
The insect world in chaos
The holiday is over
Tomorrow they’ll be gone.

TUESDAY...
--- Days at work. Fairly busy. Lots of shoe impressions to get through. I'm alone today too.

WEDNESDAY...
--- Still alone. Less busy than yesterday though.

THURSDAY...
--- Fairly busy night until midnight or so. Then settles down.

FRIDAY...
--- Do a walk before work. Too nice out not to. Fairly slow night as well. Get some groceries after work. I'm the only customer in the place when I go. Just me and the clean up crew.

SATURDAY...
--- Quiet around the house. Prepare for the hockey pool and watch some tv.

SUNDAY...
--- Go for a walk. Should have brought the good camera as there's a great view of a woodpecker and some hawks fly close by as well.
--- Hockey pool draft takes much of the evening. Then Sunday night tv. Breaking Bad is done. A good finale.

MONDAY...
--- Go for a few groceries. Do a walk with the camera after that. Get some good pictures of a chipmunk.
